We've Got The Best Wall Color for Selling Your Home!

Your wall color is like a perm in the 80's.  Smokin' hot, especially if you added the poofy-requires-an-80-lb-can-of-hairspray- style bangs... Or at least it was.  They call that style "God awful" or if they are being nice, "dated" nowadays and the last thing you want when a buyer walks through your doors is for someone to call your home "dated."  (Though that is probably better than God awful!)  Either way, it's an immediate hit to your pocket book and could end up costing you in the long run.

No one wants to buy your bad 80's perm and they definitely don't want to buy a house that feels dated and out of touch with current trends.

Leave the perm and it might come back around, but certain things will never come back.  (Let's hope those bangs are one of them if for no other reason than the ozone layer... or our lungs!)

Paint is one of the easiest ways to get the most bang for your buck before selling your house and the trends ARE important.

If you are selling right now, the top color in the Atlanta area is "Agreeable Grey" by Sherwin Williams.  It's a neutral grey somewhere between grey and beige.  (Our temporary apartment was painted this color and I loved it!)  Nimbus by Benjamin Moore is another favorite.

But if you really want to be a part of the newest trend, go more towards the flax and linen colors.  These colors are HOT in the European market.

You can definitely expect to see more of them.  One of my personal favorites is "Cotswold" by Benjamin Moore. This color is similar to the home featured in this post and named after one of the most beautiful places on the planet.  Hard to argue with that!

This home is for sale in Sweden with Stadshem.
